Privacy Policy

Polara Sim is designed to work without collecting personal information:

• Personal information: we do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or other contact details. The app has no user accounts and no sign-in.
• Microphone: the optional Record feature uses your device’s microphone, with your permission, to capture recordings you choose to make. Recordings are stored only on your device and are never uploaded, transmitted, or accessed by us.
• Sound library downloads: when you download sounds, the app requests files from our content delivery network (Cloudflare). Like any internet request, this involves the transient processing of your device’s IP address by the network provider to deliver the files. We do not use this to identify or track you.
• Usage data: we do not collect analytics, usage statistics, advertising identifiers, or diagnostic data.

The only data the app handles — downloaded sounds, your saved scenes, and your recordings — is used solely to provide the app’s functionality: overlaying realistic sound effects for simulation training. All of it stays on your device.

We do not sell, trade, share, or otherwise transfer any user data to outside parties. There is nothing to share: no personal data leaves your device.

The app contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party tracking code. Sound files are delivered by Cloudflare, our hosting provider, which processes network requests as described in section 1 and does not use them for any other purpose.

Because your recordings and settings are stored only on your own device, they are protected by your device’s own security. Content downloads are delivered over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

We retain no user data on our servers. Everything the app stores — downloaded sounds, scenes, and recordings — lives on your device and is removed when you delete it in the app or uninstall the app.

Since no personal data is collected or stored on any back-end, there are no records for us to provide, correct, or delete. You remain in full control of the data on your device. If you believe we hold any information about you, contact us and we will respond in accordance with applicable law, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Polara Sim is a professional training tool and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the date above.
